The Hilldrop Simulated Game Shoot was founded in 2002 and we have made it our mission to take clay shooting to a whole different level and have innovated and invested accordingly. This ensures that beginners, experts and even the purist game shots leave both challenged by the shooting and surprised by the pure enjoyment factor; in fact, we will prove that shooting is an adrenalin sport!

Where else can you shoot traditional game birds such as high pheasants, hedge hopping partridges or contouring grouse before turning “Poacher” and having a go at teal, crows, magpies, crossing pigeons, rats, rabbits and even flying squirrels? This is only part of the story as we can quicken the pulse still further with exploding clays, tracer cartridges, and shooting at flying foam targets with bows and arrows!

Banquets, Pool Houses and Ibiza-styled Roof Terrace: In 2023 we proudly unveiled our new Pool House, which doubles down as the ultimate shoot lodge. It is a picture-perfect backdrop with fully retractable doors allowing for alfresco dining and you can then take your pick and gaze at our shimmering swimming pool or the rolling hills of the Marlborough Downs.

Our real X-factor is the Pool House Roof Terrace, which has truly sensational 360-degree views. It has a unique laid-back elegance: Think Rosé, Ibizan vibe music, huge umbrellas; or just think ‘ Your Shooting Party’, as this is what Hilldrop days are all about.
